What a gem is working at this location in Clearbrook, VA! Shannon (I believe that was her name) was the only one working with a line of people waiting to order. She demonstrated a professional calmness as she took and prepared our order quickly and we never felt rushed. We were traveling and took the subs to go and they were probably the best subs we ever had from subway and they didn’t fall apart like the other subs I have purchased in the past. When I asked if she could cut our foot longs in 4 pieces, she happily took care of that for us. These days it is so hard to find good help and many would have closed down shop if having to serve all those people by themselves. Never in a million years did I think I would be on here leaving a 5 star review for a Subway but here I am on the 4th of July weekend, after stopping at the Flying J subway, leaving a 5 star review. I should have caught their names but they were swamped when we stopped in. The young lady and the young gentleman who were working there today were rather fabulous. The gentleman was very tall, soft spoken, kind and eager to make sure he got everything right. The young lady was on the short side (I can say this because I too am vertically challenged) with Dark red hair. She was quick to restock and help her co-worker out in between "jazzing up" the subs as he slid them down to her. My experience was awful from the employee putting steak instead of chicken on my sub to at the end not accepting my gift card because machine was broken. I will not be back the second time with poor unpleasant service. Plus she had a poor attitude blaming it on working past schedule. I stopped in at 6:30pm on Jan 29th 2022

The employee looked like she was very angry at the world. Not a friendly environment. Very slow. Was rude and impatient. Never going to this subway again. I expect kindness and politeness in return. 👎🏻

Terrible service. I had to ask twice for the girl to change her gloves because she kept touching everything. And then while my sandwich was in the toaster she started cleaning things again and touched my food without changing her gloves. So I gave up and walked away. Why wear gloves if you are going to touch everything in the place with those gloves before you touch my food? If I wanted to eat your thermometer I would have asked for it.
