Subham Chettinad Grill Authentic Indian Cuisine & Bar

I am a novice foodie. I know I like the flavors but not always sure what it is, nor do I know the dish names most times. So I searched Thali platter, since it has a variety of foods. That’s how I landed here. I am in love with their VEG Thali Platter! Again, I’m not even sure what I all I ate, but it was all excellent! (I ate the whole thing!) Each dish had its own unique flavor, even the mango pickle was delicious! Server was very nice. She even gave tips on what to pair together. Then she told me I could have refills - I learned it was the Eggplant Curry that’s one of my favs. Plus the Lentil Soup. I wish I had taken more before photos. But I’ll definitely be back again to take more!

Everything we have tried here has been delicious - tasty but not too spicy. This has become one of our go to Indian/Desi restaurants. Some of the must try dishes: 1) Kizi Parotha ( we tried with chicken) - this is a large portion as it includes type of Indian bread with 2 different types of Chicken dishes 2) Open Dosa - unique style of dosa that comes with 4 different sauces/chutneys 3) Tandoori chicken- this is north Indian style. It was very well marinated & cooked perfectly

We ordered Hyderabad Chicken 65 Biryani, Saag Chicken, Butter Naan & Onion Samosa today through Uber Eats. Onion samosas were decent but the rest of the items were pretty disappointing. We ordered based on the Google reviews but I guess it's just one of those places that is mostly hype or was simply not to our taste palate. The biryani was pretty weird, with flavors all over the place. The Chicken 65 pieces were alright but the rest was just not working together and was a bit salty on top of it all. The saag chicken was completely flavorless and did not go well with the butter naan. Overall a disappointment and waste of money

Incredible food! Delightful and knowledgeable server was very interested in making sure we had a good experience. We ordered malai kofta, chicken kizhi parrota , and paneer tava masala. As two very hungry people, we ate about half of the food and are excited to have the rest tomorrow. Will definitely return. Atmosphere is a bit echoey, but we didn’t mind. It impressed me as a working kitchen with delicious food.

My husband brought me for a lunch date and the food was amazing! We love Indian and have tried numerous places in and around Austin, and this is easiest one of the best if not our new #1. Appetizer was samosas and mushroom soup on a cold day. PERFECT! For main entree: tikka masala and kurai chicken. Both were SO FULL of flavor, and not just a generic sauce. So glad we stopped here and will be back soon! Location was large, clean, and the waitress was so kind.
