Customer Reviews
Sub Brothers is a straightforward sandwich shop that keeps things simple and satisfying. The subs are generously packed, with fresh toppings and bread that holds everything together without getting soggy. The Italian sub has that perfect mix of meats and tangy dressing, and the cheesesteak is hearty and comforting. It’s quick, affordable, and feels like a dependable neighborhood go-to when you just want a solid sandwich without any fuss.
So got a gyro from here. What's the most disgustingness gyro I have ever eaten first of all, there is only 7 pieces of gyro meat and it kind of tastes like old and like cardboard, the sauce was very runny and not good at all. Maybe that's what I get for buying a gyro from a sandwich spot you would think it would be better because you have competition across the street That I always go to. But I thought it'd give you guys a chance. Never again i do not recommend
Really solid food, but some of the best value you're going to get. I honestly think it would be cheaper to just eat here than to cook my own food. I haven't had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. The burgers aren't fantastic, but they're still better than fast food! I love their pastrami, too.
Much like the mighty oak, the sub brothers planted its sturdy roots in 1996 and has been a staple of the neighborhood since then. Delicious food, warm service, and a homey atmosphere--I value nothing more than my trips down to the sub brothers to grab a burger or even a Philly beef for prices you wouldn't believe. God bless.
I stopped here with company for a quick bite during Two Fest. We ordered hot dogs, a salami sub, and an Italian beef with giardiniera. Everything was good but the Italian beef was a step above. Flavor was as you’d expect, and this sandwich was WET. But not soggy and falling apart - it was as wet as can get without being a whole ordeal. My partner had the salami and when he asked for a bite I gave it reluctantly. He then demanded another bite and I acquiesced, which I promptly regretted as I watched him try to get away with a surreptitious double chomp. Do you get what I’m trying to say? He told me it was better than portillos. I recommended the sandwich to another friend who ordered it the same day and he was impressed. Definitely worth it to sample if you’re in Rogers Park.
