This is a hidden gem. Worth the trek or if you are passing through town you must stop. They are famous for their cinnamon buns. But the Mexican food is some of the best I’ve had in Canada. Very delicious and fresh. The property has the most stunning garden and you feel right at home.
We drive by a 4-6 times a year and always told ourselves we should stop next time, but either it's too early or we forget until the moment we pass the sign and never bothered to turn around. Last trip we set the gps and stopped to kill some time in Osoyoos so we wouldn't miss it, and it was absolutely worth turning around for. We went again on the return trip to try different items and both visits were delicious. The cinnamon buns were a must try. The couple the runs it Winters in Mexico, so double check it's open for the season before you get your hopes up.
What a wonderful restaurant. The food was very authentic and really, really good. Our host was just a pleasure, very welcoming. We drove 40 minutes on someone's recommendation, and it was absolutely worth it.
The Okanagan is all about its grapevines, cherries, and apples—basically nature’s version of a fruit stand that goes on for miles. But halfway along Highway 3, somewhere between Osoyoos and Midway, we stumbled across something you wouldn’t expect: Mexico. Yes, Mexico. Or at least the deliciously convincing stand-in version of it. Su Casa Mexican Cafe doesn’t exactly jump out at you. In fact, if you sneeze or blink too hard, you’ll be well past Bridesville before you realize you missed it. The only hint is a modest sign and the Mexican flag swaying bravely at the roadside, like it’s trying to whisper, “Stop here, amigo—you won’t regret it.” The building itself has history. Once upon a time, it was a paint stick factory (because of course it was—what highway doesn’t need one?). But thanks t
An unreal deal. Amazing rich, creamy, and spiced food at a price that can’t be easily matched. Friendly service, and an open atmosphere. With amazing drinks like the horchata, and killer deserts like the flan, it’s impossible to make a wrong choice at su case Mexican cafe
