Sturgis District Library

WHY are politics being discussed around children in this library?! I am attempting to use the computer to redo my resume and I have to listen to a grown man loudly complaining to a willing librarian about how he isn't happy with his life because "immigrants have stolen his jobs" and his health insurance is insane because someone he knows "needs viagra"...are you kidding me?! Say "We don't discuss our political views here"! Period! There are people of color and nationality IN THE LIBRARY! People who pay taxes to keep this library open! I pay taxes to keep this library open and I don't think this type of behavior is appropriate or necessary for daily functions IN A PUBLIC LIBRARY! DO BETTER! Check your personal beliefs at the door before clocking in - this is supposed to be a Safe Place!

The librarians are the best we have ever come across. They put so much effort into making the library an amazing asset to the community.!

Beautiful library! Especially love all the activities they offer for the community. Dr. Seuss Birthday Party, paintings, puzzle nights, and more! We enjoy coming and doing these things as a family! Thank you!

I write this review on the library's internet, August 2021, enjoying the continued quiet here after a day of remote work. This place has been a lifesaver when I needed internet for a day. Left alone except when help was required, if I lived in town I'd be here on the regular. Well recommend this library for the facilities and ease of use.
