Stumpy's Pizza & Subs

Came in here for lunch with my husband on Tuesday this week, and we absolutely loved it! The inside is pretty small, but there are tables to sit at and a drink fountain with freshlybrewed tea options. The service and atmosphere were very good! Everyone was so nice and friendly. The food.. OMG JUST WOW!!! It was SOOOO delicious. I got the calzone, and it may look small, but it was soo filling. It was the best portioned calzone ive ever had. I brought back a calzone for my co-worker and her review was "this is a really good calzone". We will definitely be returning!!

Been coming here over 25 years still the best pizza and wings in Phoenix and I'm from Chicago not only that the owner is one of the most honorable men next to my dad I have ever met very down to earth and he loves all people from different walks of life

Hidden Gem ***** Came in for lunch and could not just settle on a couple of 2 topping slices...which they offer. Instead I had a small meat lovers pizza and an order of lasagna. Which was amazing. The sauce, and fillers seasoned perfectly. Hot and bubbly out of the oven. The pizza... thin with that crisp and integrity you want from a slice. Holds the toppings together... and they do not skimp on the toppings even on a small. The kicker is the service was outstanding. Friendly and smiling ready to take your order. Highly ... Highly Recommend!

Have a seat.. we're going for a ride.. 'cause Stumpy's Pizza, yeah, it's kinda special. There are places.. people.. things.. that somehow help you find something you didn't realize was lost.. and these places.. these people.. these things.. are special in ways that are hard to describe. That's Stumpy's Pizza. Stumpy's is a simple spot.. one of an eclectic set of establishments in a strip along Northern Avenue. They serve pizza.. by the slice or as whole pies.. and subs along with fountain drinks and snacks. If you dine in, the paper plates and styrofoam cups tell you everything you need to know.. this joint doesn't care about pretense.. it's nothing special.. and yet so special! I stopped in for a late lunch and was warmly welcomed by the counter staff. Ordering was simple and efficient

Hands down the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not even hyping it up. We each also had a slice of their pizza. The pepperoni slice was perfect. The crust had that right bite, the sauce had flavor, no flop and the cheese was on point. My mom and I shared the Classic Italian sub and I had to get the French Dip too. Both were toasted and absolutely loaded. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. I additionally had a side salad with their house Italian dressing which was absolutely delicious! You definitely walk out full, especially for the price. For how much food you get, it’s more than fair. This spot is made for the working class. Real food, real portions, no nonsense. I also tried the chocolate chip cookies that were baked by the owner’s wife and they were legit. Y
