Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church

This place is made of the wonderful people who work here, especially Father Alexander. First time I ended up here almost accidentally, driving through town from out of state on a day they had no service, wanting to lit up a candle in a Russian Orthodox Church. They opened up the church for me, let me spend some time inside and shared a warm and candid heart to heart. I wish I lived closer to this non-assuming place that is built around strong community.

I have been attending this church since 2002. Church service is performed in both English and Russian; Father Alexander is able to also offer spiritual counseling in both languages. The community here is great and participate in many philanthropic efforts in conjunction with New Horizons and the Manchester VA. Sunday school classes are also offered for those with children. One reviewer on here mentioned "loudspeakers" however this is blatantly false as there are no speakers installed at the church and all sermons are read within the nave vocally without electronic assistance. I would encourage anyone, orthodox faith or not, to attend a service and see for themselves why this church has been a part of the Manchester community for over 100 years!
