First timers we asked the bartender for something traditional and brought me a yummy drink. Rating was low just because my fish was super greasy next time I'll order a sandwich or salad. Nice attentive server. No wait as we sat at the bar.
After showing up at this place three times when they were closed I was super excited to find them open last summer when I got to try some of the items on their menu including a taco flight, a very delicious spicy margarita and their dressed out nitro called Sgt Holtz. Now I’m blowing through town again so I’m stopping to eat here for a late lunch since I will get in pretty late tonight and miss dinner. Now I’m having a pub burger on a pretzel bun with garlic aïoli dill pickles crispy bacon and some really yummy fries. And I’m having the dry stout again because it’s terrific and you know I love a nitro Porter or Stout! PS Baylee is a lovely server!
$18 for some pasta with a little bacon on it is ridiculous imo. The burgers are not worth $22 to me either but better than $18 for some cheap noodles. The food was just ok. The fountain drinks (Sprite specifically tasted off/bad). The woman who sat us was not very personable. I won’t be going back.
The service here was good, we came in a large group (20ish people) and the staff handled it well. Our food came out reasonably fast as well with no errors on our orders which is unusual when ordering in such large groups. My only complaint is the food is pretty expensive for what you get. I had the alfredo pasta with chicken and it was $17 dollars base +$6 for the chicken. The alfredo sauce was pretty bland, and we only got roughly half a chicken breast for $6. The chicken was overcooked as well. It was dry and the charring went beyond a nice crust and instead was more like carbon. It wasn't unedible, but for such a small amount for 6 bucks I'd hope for better quality. We wanted to get a salad, but a ceasar salad costs $20 dollars here (and if you think that might be because it includes
I have stopped by Strap Tank in Springville Utah a few times with my riding group. I have always called ahead to let them know how many and when we will arrive. It seem like everytime we show up to the place it is almost empty, yet they say it will be at least one hour before they can seat us. I assumed this was a place for motorcycle riders, but I am beginning to wonder..
