Stoney Lonesome BBQ

This is some of if not the best bbq I have ever had! I’m genuinely upset how many times I’ve drove by this place and never seen it because I will 100% be a regular now there’s nowhere in the area that compares. I had the chicken sandwich with the mayo slaw on it with a side of potatoes and Mac and cheese it was absolutely amazing especially the potatoes I’ve never had anything like it. Can’t believe the reviews that have less than five stars this place is so good I never write reviews but this place absolutely is worth the time to write one for me. Please stop by they deserve way more customers! If I had one thing to say to the owner is thank you and get a giant sign so more people can see you!

Stopped on a rainy Friday evening on my way back up into the city from a meeting in Howenhald. Had seen this place before, but my first opportunity to catch it open. --- Glad I stopped! --- Decided to get their Brisket Philly - yeah buddy! Melted cheese, grilled onions and peppers, and a side of horseradish to add as desired for some good punch on a cold January evening. Mac & cheese and potato salad were both killer! (One thought - serve on a pocket-cut roll vs. a full cut-through for an easier handheld experience. Overall though, great plate!) --- Friendly staff at the order/pickup window - even put on the concierge hat by offering up some places in Hohenwald for new people to check out. Made me feel very welcome. Definitely coming back 👍👍

The potato was pretty good! the mac and cheese was not bad but the meat was cold and I arrived at 12:00. I asked for brisket and got ribs ☹️ the spicy barbecue sauce is good

Recently moved to Hohenwald from California and have been looking for some good bbq. Not many options here without driving a bit. We discovered Stoney Lonesome coming back from Columbia one day. It wasn't open but we made a mental note. Glad we did. The food is awesome. We especially love the brisket and pulled pork. Ribs are good too, maybe a touch dry, but when sauced they are great. Sides are good as well. The service is always great, super nice staff. It's a bit out of town, but well worth the drive. They are only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. You can dine outside on site or get it to go, either way you can't go wrong.

Sweet sauce and potato salad were good. Mac n cheese and baked beans weren't great. BBQ pulled pork was just ok...yet service was excellent! We most likely won't buy pulled pork, mac n cheese or baked beans there again. Also it's $42 for a family pack and $47 for a brisket family pack. They also have chicken.
