Stoneforge Tavern & Publick House

I ate on the tavern side at the bar top, amd was able to sit right away. Bar tender gave plenty of recommendations on popular items and I landed on a smash burger and fries. The "smash" doesnt look like the quite finished. It was a "nearly smashed" burger. It doesnt seem as though the burger wasn't seasoned at all and the fries were also unseasoned. It seems like they're relying on the sauce (which was quite good) to add flavor to the meat, but the beef itself was bland. After adding salt, the fries were fine. The bun to beef ratio was also way off. My patty was maybe 1/2 the size of the burger. All in all the tavern was cool, but I probably wouldn't order another smash burger.

The New York steak was unbelievable we always drive an hour and a half just to eat here love ittt 😍😍😌😌 we always order a nice spread and food to go as well

Great vibes with a musician playing in the back. The publick house was definitely more calm and intimate than the tavern. The 3 course meal was wonderful. Great options and great service. The steak and shrimp were very good. Lobster bisque was delicious - my first time trying that

I met a friend last night for dinner. We both ordered salads. My Cobb salad was all mixed together. There was a time, couple years ago that the Cobb was amazing at Stoneforge. My salad was delivered with no eggs, huge strips of lettuce and looked like a bowl of compost. Such a rip off for 20 bucks. My friends southwest salad was the same.

My wife and I got sick before Thanksgiving and had to cancel dinner at home. Thanksgiving I was feeling better and wanted to get a couple Turkey dinners for us take out. Called 3 - 4 places with same result, reservations only or come sit at the bar which would not be fair to the people there. I asked for take out and all said no take out. Called Stone Forge, take out no problem. 2 awesome dinners at a very reasonable price. Plenty of turkey, stuffing potatoes squash and gravy. Outstanding food and enough in each takeout for 2 meals at a very reasonable price. I feel they deserve this review as they made our Thanksgiving.
