There are so many words I can use to describe how charming and wonderful this place is! My fiancé and I tried this place on a whim and I'm so glad we did. We stayed for one night in their Carriage House. We came in around 7:30 PM and were greeted by Laura, the Inn keeper who was warm and inviting like she was a close friend. She gave us a small tour of the common areas, where breakfast was serviced, and walked us to where we would be staying. The Carriage House is a quiant little loft separate from the Inn. It's a perfect home away from home even with a small kitchen and washer and dryer! Super clean and comfortable living and sleeping areas. We had one of the best nights rest here than all of our other hotel stays over the past 2 weeks. The next morning, we walked down to the dining area

Helpful & Friendly staff, beautiful property, and parking! We stayed in the Carriage House and it was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for the WNBA All Star Game, but plan to come back to Indy to visit; Stone Soup Inn will be our first choice for a place to stay when we return. Thank you for an excellent weekend and great hospitality!

I Love this beautiful historic Inn. We stayed for 2 nights and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and shared bathroom. We had the Victorian room and it was very large with a king size bed. The common areas are decorated very nicely with period antiques. The large front balcony would be a great place to relax. Sunday breakfast was wonderful, with lots of choices and large dinning room table that encourages visiting. The staff is very friendly and there to help with anything needed. I only wish I would have had more time to explore and enjoy such a lovely place.

Positive: convenient location to where we needed to go. Staff was friendly and efficient. House was beautiful and comfortable. Over all, we had a great week end. Negative: ""

I had seen 1-2 bad reviews of this place before I decided to go ahead and gamble and book a night anyway. It did not disappoint! The place is absolutely gorgeous and charming and old in a good and historic way. Coming from the desert of west Texas, it was very neat and jaw dropping to see in person those old historic brick homes you always hear and read about from the olden days. The place has a lot of character and it very nice and clean and comfortable and the room is extremely nice and well decorated. Laura, the manager, and Brianee, (forgive me for not knowing how to spell her name) are also extremely helpful, and arm, and welcoming. Laura even went out of her way the next morning and made me waffles and later on that evening after I had checked in, Laura had prepared fruit infused wat
