Stone Soup American Bistro

What a little gem! The Mohawk Valley just stepped up a notch, or 2, with this stop. Staff if friendly, atmosphere is perfect and you just feel like home! Now let me tell you about the food!! I have lived in NYC and currently live in LA and typically when I come back to Herkimer we just cook at home. But instead we eat at Stone Soup or do take out! Food it delicious!!! Love, love, love this solid spot when I’m visiting Herkimer!

Yes!!! Loved this little gem of a place on Maine St in Herkimer!!! And our server was the absolute best!!! We got the Hemingway soup (seafood chowder) which was delicious!!! We also tried the Rocket Salad which was my absolute favorite!!! Finally, we shared the turkey dinner flatbread - what???? How is that possible? It was all very good food. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

New to Herkimer was looking for a local eatery. I was told to try Stone soup American Bistro. First off I had the flatbread of the day turkey mashed taters with a cranberry drizzle. It was really good and the pricing was really reasonable. I would recommend this place.

Very nice new restaurant in Herkimer. We tried the truffle smashburger and seafood chowder. The burger came with homemade chips. The food was very good. The service was also. There is an outside area to eat out back as well. We will be back.
