The place feels like lost in time. Great music. The atmosphere is so warm as well as the service; the gentleman there was authentically polite. The food was amazing, there was something familiar on it. We ordered brisket “natchos”, very delicious and brisket meal with macaroni salad and cole slaw, and peach cobbler for desert; all of them, the best ones I have ever had. It’s a very local place, but highly recommended if you want good food and beer. We traveled from California and stopped by after visiting Pistachio Land. It was totally worth it. The owner is a super cool and chill guy very respectful the portions you get when you order are over the top he doesn't skim out like everyone else highly recommend coming here and enjoying some amazing food. I'm actively writing this after eating my pulled pork sandwich:)

The place is very cool inside, nice atmosphere and the waitress and cook were very nice and welcoming! As for the food we were a bit disappointed since all the reviews about it have been so good. We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich with macaroni salad and potato salad. Both macaroni and potato salad were tasty and had your typical BBQ joint flavor. However the pulled pork and brisket were dry, had to add a ton of BBQ sauce, which also was not that tasty, kind of bland. The meat also was lacking flavor. And the buns were dry, may have been old or over toasted. Would recommend offering some onions and pickles with those to add some extra flavor? Since it was our first time would definitely try again in the future to see if things improved. Maybe we went on a bad day.

It’s like eating in your pawpaw’s kitchen. Best experience ever. I promise you’re never going to forget the experience. The owner is so nice and accommodating. You can tell that he really loves his food

Absolutely amazing!!! From the service to the food it was all perfect. The atmosphere was quite and laid back but had such a nice esthetic to it. I got the pulled pork dinner and it was perfect, the pulled pork was perfectly cooked and the flavor was good enough it didnt need BBQ added. I also had the coleslaw and potato salad sides they both had excellent flavor and the serving size for them was perfect. Overall the man there was great and had an great attitude, the food was cooked perfect and seasoned properly, and the vibes were spot on.
