This was our first time dining here. I had the catfish combo and my husband had the whole fish supper. The fish was very good. The shrimp were seasoned well. The sweet tea was on point and I am a sweet tea aficionado. Not all restaurants understand what a good southern sweet tea is, this restaurant does. The fried green tomatoes were among the best I’ve had. I would not recommend the sweet potato fries. I wasn’t a fan. My husband enjoyed the whole fish as well. What was unexpectedly delicious were the hush puppies. Service was excellent! Only gave 3 stars to atmosphere because of the bench style tables.

This place is famous with the locals and there's good reason for it. Great catfish, great food, and grateful service... as long as you understand why and what you came for. This is simple country dining done right. Just don't make the mistake and order the fish filets... it's the whole fried catfish that's gonna hit the spot. It's a little tricky to avoid the bones... but it's soooo delicious! (The fish filets are good too!)

All in all, this is a good place to eat. They have a very simple menu. Portion sizes are good they give you plenty to drink. The atmosphere is laid-back. It’s a big open room. It’s decorated nice. The prices are fair. Nothing too fancy for sure. Just a laid-back place to get some fish.

Fantastic! One of my favorite restaurants!!! If you order onion rings or fried pickles be warned it is A LOT and plenty to share with the table.

Very poor service. Waited 45 minutes after ordering before asking how much longer before our food would be out. We were told “we have a party of 40 in the back we need to serve”. Our order had not even been started. We chose to leave.
