Stockman's Bar

I came across this fast-food spot during my long drive from Yellowstone to Minnesota, and it was such a great find! The service was excellent, friendly and fast. The food was freshly made, and you could really taste the difference. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and super crispy, and the onion rings were some of the crunchiest I’ve ever had. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re passing through

We were traveling through while visiting the Sheridan area, we had hiked the paradise falls and then did the loop through to buffalo and then story where we’re staying-long story short, our tradition is, after a hike, find a great place to eat and have a beer. Well, we happened upon the stockman’s bar after a search and we’re so glad we did. It was Sunday, so we were doubtful that we’d find anything open. We pulled up and went in, being the only customers, we were a little skeptical. We were greeted by a gentleman, assuming he’s the owner, anyway, we ordered a few beers and I ordered the jalapeño popper burger with fresh cut fries and my husband ordered the French dip. Right away we were served with ice cold beers and I’m assuming the wife of the gentleman started preparing our food.

Amazing food and generous servings! We were driving through on the way to the Bighorns and were very happy we stopped to eat!

Walked in right after a 27 burger order so had to wait a bit BUT the food was well worth the wait!!! The staff super friendly. Definitely recommend stopping in!! We will definitely be back.

Great food and lots of it. Dinning separate from the bar. Waitress was very friendly!!!
