Stinson Beach

I love a cool, cloudy beach, and Stinson did not disappoint! I went on a beautiful foggy morning, and walked along the beach for quite a while. There were many gulls and crabs, and the water was delightfully chilly. I loved how quiet the beach was - not crowded at all.

Feels intimate but not closed off. This is the ultimate beach getaway for bay area folks or anyone who knows what's up. The only thing I have a love/hate relationship with is the drive into town... its rough if you get easily car sick

A wonderful beach. Good idea to go there on a weekday if you can, place was practically deserted. Would not recommend the restrooms. Not a lot of parking and just a single lane road that goes through town so plan for delays. The beach itself was majestic.

Came here past sundown and it was beautiful. The reflection of the sand paired with the crashing of the waves makes for an incredible ambiance.

Stinson Beach left us with the kind of memories that linger like the scent of salt air in your jacket long after the day ends. We arrived under a soft curtain of fog, the sky a quiet gray that made every laugh and footstep feel a little more intimate. Parkside Café served up kid’s favorite ice creams and pizza. Even without the sun, the beach glowed in its own way—peaceful, magical, and suspended in time. It wasn’t just a day at the beach; it was a pocket of stillness and joy we’ll return to again in our minds.
