Steve's Original Jerk Chicken

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve's son who operates this location. Polite, friendly, offers really good options with great customer service. I always found most places overcooked their jerk chicken and then smother it in sauce as a disguise, which I don't like. But this place is the real deal! Really moist and well done with great sauce options. Try this place for JERK CHICKEN, you won't be disappointed.

Considering Steve's got such a great score, I was confident that I would enjoy what I was craving, oxtails. My initial taste was pleasing. After the third bite I found they had sent me burnt oxtails and the burnt flavor was exposed the more I searched for gravy. I'vw been sick all week, haven't eaten all day and that's what I get for, again, trusting, that people have pride in what leaves their kitchen. So disappointed 😞

Steve’s Jerk Chicken is THE PLACE to go for a delicious meal & consistently friendly customer service in Brooklyn! I was visiting Brooklyn because my Jamaican mother was in the hospital for surgery. This also meant that I wasn’t getting my mother’s delicious home cooking. After leaving Kings County hospital I parked and walked the area of Church & Utica in search of great Jamaican food. Three of the restaurants I walked into were either not friendly or their menu wasn’t visible. Kept walking and smelled the jerk smoke from Steve’s jerk chicken pan around the corner. Went in and got a warm welcome from Steve and the staff and that was the beginning of SEVERAL trips to Steve’s Jerk Chicken at all times of the day. I didn’t patronize any other restaurants after finding Steve’s Jerk Chic

Amazing OXTAIL & JERK CHICKEN!! Fantastic portions. You pay $25 for a large plate of OXTAIL, YOU GET A LARGE PLATE OF OXTAIL! YOU GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH!!! DONT HESITATE!!!!! De-LISH!!! 🫡🫡👍🏼👀

Best Jerk chicken I had in a long time. Perfect smokiness and moist chicken! When ever I am in the neighborhood, I will be back.
