Steve's Black Sabbath BBQ

Steve the owner is GREAT ! Such a great upbeat vibe. Great music. Food was DELICIOUS ! I can never decide on what to get. So ... I always get a little of EVERYTHING :) Love the Ribs, Brisket, Drunk Chicken and Green Beans !!! They have Pepsi products and Beer. No mixed drinks :( It has outside seating next to the river. Too cold to enjoy on our recent trip. Down sides ... No coke :( Small seating area and parking can be limited. Will definitely return.

Food was delicious!! They also had flites with local beers and Ogden brewery next door. The inside was an industrial and a rustic rock N roll feel. Steve was incredibly nice and personable. He handed out samples to people waiting in line and talked to everyone. The staff seemed to be a little forgetful but all in all it was a great place and we will definitely be back.

We walked in and the third person down the line of service was Steve. Good ol Texas boy, stoked on making food for folks. Greeted us first of everyone. Only lean brisket was left when we got there and he gave a quick little lesson on brisket cuts, why the fatty part goes first because it’s better but a well made lean is good too. Passionate about his craft. 3 different times in our 30 minutes of eating, Steve wandered into the dining room area to check on his guests. His friends. The vibe was that of a person who wanted to make sure his best pals were fed properly. Steve’s got an easy laugh, a jovial attitude, lives in a whole “helllllll yeahhhh brother” world and puts up food that is unseen in the state of Utah. We had drunken chicken, lean (and less desired) brisket, and pork belly burnt

Finally have some amazing BBQ here in Ogden! This spot is a hidden gem located between the old Slackwater and Ogden Beer Company right on the Ogden river. The meats are full of flavor and never dry and the sides are unique and on point! Every dish pairs well with the El Guapo from Talisman that they serve on tap! Ask the owner Steve to splash your brisket with some beef tallow and you’ll be back once a week just like myself! Also discovered local talented singer named Poeina because they do live Music on Sundays!

Our family had a great time at Steve’s. The food was awesome- something for everyone. Favorites for our group were the beef short rib, pulled pork, mac n cheese, creamed corn, and especially the peach cobbler. I can also recommend their food for catered events. Easy to work with and the food tasted just as good as it does in the restaurant.
