Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 - excellent Value 3/5 The takeaway I’ll remember from Stereo41 is the vibes and ambiance from the intimate and romantic decor and DJ/sounds making it a solid date spot or loungey meal. We ordered the individual portions of the braised lamb neck, slow cooked beef, lamb merguez, stereo mezze platter, and almond cake desert. The food is solid and very tasty to make it a well rounded experience, however it doesn’t hit the “blow you away” mark. The miso hummus, fromage blanc spread in the platter have great flavor and are memorable. The overall taste to me, is higher standard. Service was standard, no reason to take away any stars, but could’ve been slightly more attentive on beverage refills. Nice staff and personality though. Where it gets its point reductio

Stereo41 has officially become one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. The fusion of Egyptian and Japanese flavors is honestly incredible and so unique and delicious. It's such a rare combination, but they do it so well that every dish feels both familiar and completely new. You can taste the authenticity of both cuisines, and the creativity behind each plate really stands out. It's the kind of food that makes you pause because the flavors are just that memorable. I also love the family-style concept. It makes the whole experience feel warm and communal. I've gone for date night, with my family, and with friends, and it's been amazing every single time. It's one of those places that works perfectly for any kind of outing. The zero-proof drinks deserve their own shout-out. They're

The restaurant tries to be fancy using a fusion of Japanese and middle eastern ingredients. Standard falafel with Nori, yet i couldn’t taste or smell the nori and they managed to sell it for $16 for 5 pieces. The appetizer platter was typical hummus, muhamara which was not exactly that. And tasty cheese dip. The fresh vegetables were radishes, carrots, zucchini . The dishes were average of $40+ and given the quality and portions it was over priced. The sides were limited.

From the moment you step into Stereo 41, it’s clear you’re in for something truly exceptional. This isn’t just a restaurant...it’s a sensory experience. The menu is smart, creative, and confidently different. Each dish feels thoughtfully composed, blending unexpected flavors and techniques while still being deeply satisfying. The Hamachi Tostadas were exceptional–fresh, balanced, and layered with flavor and I highly recommend them. Beyond the impeccable design and inventive menu, what truly sets Stereo 41 apart is the hospitality. The team strikes the perfect balance: warm and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Whether you’re being guided through the menu, enjoying recommendations from the bar, or simply soaking in the ambiance, you’ll feel genuinely welcomed and well-cared for. I

Wow. What an incredible and memorable experience! From the owners, to the staff to the food and ambience, everything was so well curated. Everyone was so attentive and knowledgeable. Live music while dining is such a nice touch. Every dish was so well thought out and I could feel the culture behind the dishes in each bite. Highly recommend when in Walnut Creek.
