Stephenville Historical House Museum

We stopped here when we were passing through. We did not wait for a guided tour which meant we would not able to enter the buildings. It was an interesting place to walk around. I recommend stopping if you have a half hour to spare.

Some beautiful and interesting structures. But, lady working didn't seem to know squat about Stephenville history. My guess is that this place has a potential to be a much better educational centee than what it is.

Fun place to stop and take a look around.

We had a little impromptu tour which was very cool, informative, and fun. The old carriages and cabins were so neat to look at. The tour guide was interactive and told us a bit about so many of the different items and buildings/areas. Super cool! We had another unprecedented adventure trying to find a missing piece of my son’s action figure that he lost along the tour. The tour guide was so kind to my son, helped us look, and was very patient. Hats off to him for being a great tour guide and having such a kind and patient heart. We will return soon (this time, without the action figure LOL).

The staff here is very friendly! Great place with historical buildings from Stephenville and the ft worth area.
