Best Jamaican food in Funky Town. I had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie and she was kind, warm, and welcoming. Let me try the goat and all 3 OxTail flavors. Went with a Goat and Oxtail plate and a Jerk Chicken for the Prince. Everything was delicious including the sides! Missed the cornbread. Gotta get there or call early next time so I can enjoy the sweet plantains! Might get the fish next time but the Oxtail always calls my name and I'm very selective about who and where I get my meat when I indulge in it! Even invited me to their upcoming event.
Yes I wanted to see what Stephanie was talking about and she was saying plenty...I loved everything about this small little joint. Its a real mom and pop spot... Please try the oax tails, they were tasty, tender and u can taste that Jamacian love..Oolala the plantain was juicy too..I really enjoyed my plate see you soon!!! LASTLY Stephanie runs out of food- get there early for the good stuff😃
Amazing food 😋 I was on a visit to Fort Worth, Texas, and I said to my sister that was in the hospital a few miles from the restaurant. If I don't find Jamaican food soon, I'm going to be the one hospitalized. Lucky for me, I found this place. Great service and nice people. Definitely recommend
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I came 15 minutes after opening. The staff was very nice and polite. The restaurant was clean and well put together. The food was a disappointment. I ordered oxtails with extra gravy, rice/peas, cabbage, plantains. The order came out to $26.25. The price is overpriced in my opinion but about standard for most restaurants. But I don’t believe in paying quality prices for low quality food. If the meal comes with three sides, I assume that the entrée would be of larger quantity than the three sides. Rice and peas filled up the majority of the large compartment in the plate. They had traditional oxtails, curry, oxtails, and jerk oxtails. I chose the traditional oxtails as my entrée. They were extremely greasy, boney, and fatty and the cab
SO UNDERRATED! Such a good whole in the wall spot. Everything is super free and seasoned/cooked so well! Sweetest women running the store and serving VERY ferrous portions. Definitely worth it, bang for your buck for sure!
