Stem Handmade Soap is creating a beautiful new storefront of their own located at 2265 Lee Rd in Cleveland Hts. It is just a short drive from their VanAken space. Truthfully, I would drive anywhere to get my favorite stem soaps, bath bombs, and lotions. Locally owned by thoughtful, kind community minded folks. I can't wait see their new space along with discover the other small businesses in the area. Cedar Lee Theater, Cle Urban Winery, Stone Oven Bakery, Bottle House Brewery.

high quality, affordable hand made local products including (but not limited to) soaps, candles, bath bombs. the shop is small but very well stocked. you are sure to find several new favorites! the staff is very knowledgable and willing to help if you're overwhelmed by all the options. they even offer unscented products for those with sensitive skin and allergies!

Not only do they offer INCREDIBLE products but their customer service reminds you of an era when people cared for others! We’re near Philly, received this soap as a Christmas gift last year, fell in love with it! So we order it regularly! Last shipment one of the containers leaked and half the soap was lost. We wrote the company asking for a store credit to the equivalent of 50% of the bottle. They responded saying that what happened was on them and they sent us a new bottle AND 20% coupon for our next order! We will be continuing to order all our hand soaps and creams from STEM because they truly believe in their product and care about the people who buy it!

I love the scent and feel of STEM soaps but I gave noticed that, compared to other handmade soaps, these get used up faster.

Walked in, employee looked at me and said nothing—no greeting whatsoever. My friend came in shortly after and was enthusiastically welcomed. I hate to think it was because I am a woman of color and my friend is a white woman, but it sure felt that way when taken in the context of the sequence of events. And just in case you want to bring up the race card thing, more often than not, the race card is played for us without any active participation on our part.
