Stella Blues

This was my first time dining at Stella Blues, and I am satisfied with my experience! I enjoyed a solo date at the bar and the service was wonderful. If you prefer tropical sweet drinks-- I highly recommend the Cabana Banana cocktail! I decided to try the gumbo dish and it was amazing. I have not had gumbo from down south to compare but to my defense, the flavors and spices were well up to par. The portion size of the dish is appropriate- enough for leftovers as well! (Side note: I was told they make everything from scratch!). The bartenders are personable, and made sure I was taken care of through out my dinner. The ambience was perfect, the gypsy margarita was absolutely delicious and A+ on the food plus menus. So much goodness to choose from! I had crab artichoke dip, caesar salad and catfish fingers... A wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I had Valentine's dinner at Stella Blue, and it was the perfect choice. Our server was so sweet and attentive, the food was delicious, and the drinks were potent! A huge shot out on the decor, which was classy, eclectic, funky, and just perfect. The music was all 80s-90s love songs, which fit the evening perfectly! The restaurant seemed to have deliberately not overbooked, so every table had privacy to enjoy the romance. We will definitely be back next time we visit Eau Claire!

Stella Blues far exceeded my expectations. The interior is very NOLA esque going right along with the menu selections. We got the crab dip, shrimp and grits, and Cajun pasta with andouille sausage and shrimp. All of the food was hot and excellent. Service was very good. Only thing to mention is meat add ons are $8 each so keep that in mind.

Some of the most delicious food in the city. The staff is friendly, very helpful answering questions about the menu. Great atmosphere. Food can be a little messy, as good Cajun food should be! One suggestion: wet wipes at the tables.
