Did a great job taking care of our community during the pandemic! Also they do a amazing job helping our seniors stay in their homes so they don't end up in nursing homes or assisted living homes. And providing WIC for mothers in need of assistance. And providing our community with vaccines. Keep up the great work Public Health! You are a great asset to our community in keeping it safe and healthy!

When getting a hold of anyone especially your care coordinator n caseworker of a so called health plan, with a Medicare program, no one did anything for me and help with anything and then they couldn't even have the courage to tell me why my case was being closed as I have been awaiting cataract surgery for over a year n with my doctor's orders n bc of my deteriorating back n with more disc's herniated, I was suppose to get some inside home care help n with transportation to stores so I would not have to carry so many pounds of weight up stairs, couldn't even get that. They got me cut off of a program (ARC) N then just like that, my transportation was also canceled n now no way to get me to any doctor appts for the eyes and my back. I am on Medicare n a program that helps get one to a hos

Our household tested positive for COVID using home tests. We want to do our duty to help track the numbers and type of COVID variants here in Steele County. We called Public Health to find out if they or other entities provide testing for accurate data collection. The PH nurse said "Public Health is not testing or tracking home tests". That is NOT what we asked. She seemed oblivious. Now we wonder how under-represented the numbers are here in Steele County.

Terrible communication. Terrible management. A complete disservice to the community. Would never recommend.
