Steak 'n Shake

Our family came here today to eat, and the experience was almost perfect. The food was delicious, and the shakes were so good, but they messed up our one order about 3 times. But other than that, everything was amazing!

Steak N Shake was never gourmet, but it used to be halfway decent. Now they don't have any wait staff, you put in your own orders at a kiosk, wait an absurdly long time for your food, and you get a dried out slice of meat on a bun that you should definitely check for mold.

I have been going to this steak N shake since I was in elementary and I appreciate it's presence in the neighborhood. The food is good and the shoes are delicious! I hope this one continues to stay open for many more years! This last visit I had their western BBQ double cheeseburger and the Biscotti milkshake - super good!

Horrible service, went through Drive through & Jane the worker didn’t get my second burger added & when I mentioned it, she very coldly said “No there was only one. I read it back.”Jane, you did not read it back. If you can please listen when your customers are ordering. We clearly ordered two burgers & two people in the car heard. It was said before the last milkshake was ordered. So either selective hearing or they need to pay attention as employees. Had to go back around. Worst experience.

First time in. I was under the impression that when you ordered a shake for sit down it would come in the shake glass with extra in a cold metal cup (presumably the one it was made in). That was not the case. It came in a styrofoam cup that wasn’t filled all the way. And the quality of the shake wasn’t that good.. maybe they’ve just gone downhill, I’m not sure. The grilled cheese sandwich was good, the fries were off, I think the seasoning was weird, and they were too salty. The onion rings were average. All of the tables and seats were dirty, idk how often they clean them but it hadn’t been recent. Overall not too impressed and would recommend going elsewhere.
