Steak 'n Shake

This Place is Closed. Closed several years ago, Building has since been taken down and a new building has been built and I believe has 1 or more busineses now in it the new structure. You will have to go to another location to get your steak burger now.

Service was slow. Manager was loud and obnoxious. However. The food was good. Price was reasonable. I'd come back. Just don't be in a hurry or expect a nice quiet atmosphere.

Can honestly say after still sitting for over an hour as one of the only 2 tables here just waiting on chili I wont return. The pictures show the sad state of this restaurant these dirty tables and shake spilled all over sat here the entire hour and a half we were here and watched multiple employees walk by look at it all and do nothing about it. Also the discussion between the employees that can be overheard by the customer is outrageous staff was very rude when I brought attention to it

Sometimes amazing. Just don't go late. Sometimes I think they have volunteers not employees. Because I would fire them. Update August 30th 2018 after visiting the neighboring establishment completely employed by Mongols I decided to try to give this location a try. Apparently this is what common core causes because a cup of chili to them is a bowl full of understandable goo. I don't know what that is it possibly is chili sauce but whatever the case after the agonizing wait in line and having to knock on the window and remind them they did not give me the chili, I recommend that nobody ever go here. If you're in the mood for Steak and Shake pull out of hammer and bash yourself in the head because you're going to get more food out of that then you would by going to them.

So I've been to this location multiple times and have always had a good experience. The service has always been excellent. Every time I've gone they haven't been busy though which I guess is a blessing. I've never had my order wrong with this location but I generally dine in. The last time I was in I was in for breakfast and it was delicious and tasty. At first though it was 5 minutes before breakfast was over and she told me that breakfast but once I told her what I wanted they were able to work that out for me and I was able to get breakfast. That made me happy.
