Station 25 Restaurant

(Last visited August 6, 2023.) In the Wingaddicts Facebook group I kept seeing posts about some place called Station 25 that had HUGE, delectable, powerfully flavored wings so... we made the hour drive to Newtown, CT to see what this place is all about! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set out the way and right off Route 25 is this gem which is dedicated to the firefighters all over the country. Mark (the owner) is a volunteer firefighter himself so thank you for your service my good man. But the restaurant is large with a large outdoor seating area filled with umbrellas to block the sun or the rain if you're outside! We visited for an early dinner on a rainy day so it was quiet. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The servers were very nice. We ordered burgers, they we're cooked as to how we asked. Wasn't too big on the cheese sauce for the fries. Not a fan of cheese from a can. Overall, very good experience. We'll be returning.

Delicious food. Great drinks. I love going on Saturday afternoons when Seth is the bartender. Super friendly and efficient. Great group of regulars on Saturday afternoons. Love the burgers, cherry pepper wings with gorgonzola cheese, the porterhouse steak was delicious and a great deal. I love salmon and I ordered it blackened and again Asian style, both times amazing!😋😋

Casual restaurant with nice bar seating but food was just okay. Nachos were odd, I think they use cheese sauce and not real cheese, they look delicious but didn’t taste as good as they looked. Buffalo wings were okay, flavor was good but they weren’t crispy.

We had the garlic parm fries with the breakfast burger and a order of their cheeseburger wrap with onion rings. The burgers were cooked to the temperature requested but had a char taste. The wings was a great size. Customer service was top notch.
