Starving Vegan

Delicious comfort food! I loved it! The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is prepared quickly and is absolutely delicious. The prices are great! I loved the bbq drumsticks and the citrus chick’n.

Friendly service. Really good food. Doesn't taste like anything I have had before in vegan food. The spices and textures aren't the usual frozen Asian stuff or the weird salty processed crap. Honestly couldn't tell certain things were not chicken. Big inside. Side wall is cool. Not a popping place I don't think but there is room if you needed.

The place is clean and well lit. The food is off the chain good! The staff are friendly, and the price is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity. For $18, I got a large curry "chikn" with peas and rice, and a choice of 3 sides! It filled a large take out container, and enough for 2 full meals for me!!! I absolutely loved this place, and it's my new "spot". Would highly recommend to anyone, vegan, or otherwise. Thank you so much for being here in Flatbush!!!

It’s so yum! We ordered curry chicken and drumsticks. Both are delicious. The veggie rice is seasoned well. All the side dishes are simple but decent. I would def go back to try more :)

Superb, will characterize the word delicious, as I aptly apply it to the dishes that I ordered at Starving Vegan. I began my sit-down meal with Curry Chicken. My two combo side orders were rice and beans and chickpeas. The rice was cooked to sheer perfection. This savory dish capitalizes on a bevy of sophisticated flavors. On a side note, the curried flavor is not heavily spiced, it's actually mild in taste. After enjoying this tasty meal I decided to order a second dish. This time I ordered the ever-popular Citrus Chicken. It is easy to see why Citrus Chicken is Starving Vegan's signature dish. I paired it with rice and beans and for a little more sweetness, I added plantains. With each bite, I happily planned my next visit to Starving Vegan. I'm looking forward to more savory goodness...
