Truly disappointed AND disgusted by this business recently. Ordered 2 meals that were both made subpar and inadequately. From jump had issues ordering with the Togo lady; both orders had missing or incorrect items….the star of the show were the MULTITUDE OF BARNACLES on my crab legs. I came back the next day in hopes of getting my $$ back, only to be told there was “nothinggg” they could do simply because “I did not call or bring the food”, and they refused to even look at the clear video I had of the low quality food. Accused me of making an AI VIDEO of the food!! Even after telling them I spent the last couple days in the hospital, they had no remorse at all; called the police on me for what reason? Not sure. This situation was very unfortunate and I wish they simply would have justified

I am beyond disappointed and honestly disgusted with my order from Starters Bar and Grill Southfield tonight. I spent a good amount of money expecting fresh food, and instead I received two salads that were clearly rotten and old. The lettuce was brown and wilted, the tomatoes looked old and soggy, and everything tasted like it had been sitting out far too long. Just nasty and completely unacceptable. Whoever was in the kitchen tonight and in charge of sending this food out clearly does not care about customers or the reputation of the business they work for. No one should feel comfortable serving food in that condition. This is not just about poor quality this is about basic food safety. On top of that, my carrot cake was missing from the order. Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was great. Server was attentive, but mostly gave 5- stars because of her personality and people skills. Minimal wait time to be seated. Ambience was great and felt safe. Plenty of food for the price. Steak was a little thin and overcooked but well seasoned. Star of the plate was the deep fried lobster tail. Zip sauce was good but not great- taste and consistency was a little off. Menu is a mini version of bigger locations I have been to (eg midtown). Drinks were good. Parking lot is small but easy to find parking. Bathrooms were clean. Spent about $140 for three people with drinks (minus tip). Would definitely visit again.

Me and my co-workers dined in and had the best waitress! Her name was Candace. She was very attentive and got us everything we need. The only minus I have is that the menus were hard to read🥴 They're mostly scratched off 😖. We had a hard time trying to read it 😢One of my friends was very picky, but that didn't disturb Candace, 😂 she just answered all questions and also gave her suggestions. All of our food was tasty, hot and delicious. She kept a close eye on us as my "picky" co-worker needed more attention then the rest of us. Candace was a pleasure to encounter and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for having a pleasant person at your establishment! I recommend this location and we will return to patronize it again. We decided to try a little bit of everything — Mahi Mahi bites, steak bites, crab cakes, and the salmon Caesar salad wrap — and it was the best decision ever. Every plate that came out somehow topped the last one. The Mahi bites had that perfect crunch, the steak bites were juicy and full of flavor, and the crab cakes were packed and not overly bready. And that salmon Caesar wrap? So fresh and satisfying. I swear, I was smiling the entire meal. It was almost emotional how good everything tasted. You know that feeling when you take a bite and just pause? That was happening nonstop. Safe to say this spot is officially on my favorites list.
