Starfish Restaurant

1st timer. Down here visiting on a work trip. Saw this place when driving to the Grand Isle State Park. Pulled in and was greeted by "Dana" . She was a great waitress. They had some Spinach and artichoke balls. Very Tasty. Then proceeded to order a double bacon cheeseburger. The burger was cooked perfect and was very delicious. I ordered the killer onion rings, which also came out fresh and tasted good. If i'm ever back this way, I will come here again.I definitely recommend anybody driving by to stop in and eat.

We had the seafood gumbo and seafood platter. It was pricy and the food was just ok All the seafood was breaded and mostly cooked as is. That is cleaned but not removed from the shell. Except for the shrimp: it was shelled. The server was nice and kept an eye for when we needed anything I don't know if it is expensive for this area out was more than it was worth, IMO. They also sell burgers, but i didn't see what they look like.

Great food and prices are average for the area. Service was amazing and I love that they have tables outside. The wait was extended because they were short handed but TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF ME. I recommend them. I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 with shrimp and oysters. I added onion rings instead of fries.

Great little restaurant and dog friendly (on patio). We had excellent service and food. Had the soft shell crab sandwich (pictured)and my husband the gator, which was good also. Would recommend to anyone to stop by and try!!!

All I can say is, the server was nice. The place doesn't have the best atmosphere, felt like a mini cafeteria. It was the only thing open that was a restaurant around the time we started looking for food. So they do have great hours. BUT! The quality of the food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered the cheese burger, the steak (forgot the name from the menu) and the gumbo. No just no...if it's your last resort, by all means but I will not be returning.
