One of the best pizzas I’ve had in NYC — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, just like in Italy. They didn’t have the pizza I asked for, so the owner himself stepped in and made it from scratch on the spot. That kind of care and passion is rare. Nice spot for a quick bite. We had some sfihas and smoothie, both were delicious, super tasty. The service was excellent, and the owner was very polite and welcoming. A solid everyday option in the neighborhood, for sure I’m gonna back a thousand times!!!

We've tried the croissants, coffee, and pizza. Everything has been wonderful. The best part of this place is the owner, Claudio, who is super-friendly, hospitable, and a genuniely nice person. I was running late for work today and couldn't wait for my pizza, so he *personally* delivered it to my apartment a few blocks away. I have *never* experienced such amazing service. Thank you, Claudio! :)

This cafe is exactly what the neighborhood needed. The coffee and food are delicious. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. I go to Star Cafe multiple times a week because everything from the food to the service is consistently high quality. I would highly recommend to stop in if you haven't already!
