Starbucks

Treated myself to my first peppermint mocha of the season after skiing Brundage all day. I was so shocked to see this Starbucks was on the second floor of an Albertson’s. There was a roaring fireplace, perfect view of the Christmas tree down the street through large windows, and plenty of clean seating. The barista was working totally alone and was really sweet. She made my drink quickly and it was perfect! I think whenever I get my usual iced coffees there’s just so much room for error with ice levels, coffee color etc so getting a hot peppermint mocha was so easy and enjoyable 🎄☕️

Nice ladies made my matcha perfect and let me hang on the patio till the bus to new meadows came. 10/10

Twice this week I'm told "we're out of eggnog". It's only noon. Your Starbucks is in an Albertsons that sells eggnog. Go buy some eggnog.

Excellent coffee store. Customer service is great. Began to realize that there is an annoying echo of good morning, the staff sound like my annoying grandma's parrot. They have to say good morning to everyone that comes out of the elevator, up and downstairs going to bathrooms or pharmacy.

I knows it. Gotta support the Little Guy. The Mom and Pop (or is it now Parent and Parent?) But gosh, what a fine surprise, this relatively dim-lit cafe upstairs from the fluorescent grocery. Realized later it has its own entry via stairs from parking lot. Super setup, you almost feel you’re in a lodge, and are briefly thankful for the far-reach of the great Seattle coffee power.. Hey, I said I was sorry ‘bout not always ‘sportin local. I’ll get them back soon enough— no need to tell on me, sis ! Only givenem' the four stars.
