Starbucks Indian Trail

My friend & I love coming to this Starbucks during the week. We usually come on a weeknight when it’s not too loud to sit & talk. We love the drinks here & the service has been great. Nice atmosphere & wonderful drink selections. The seating is nice too. Very conveniently located to where my friend lives. We enjoy coming to this spot.

I normally never write reviews, but this experience really bothered me. I’ve been to this location many times through the drive-thru and have never had a problem—the staff is usually very friendly. Today I accidentally ordered my drink hot instead of iced on a mobile order and immediately apologized when I came in. The barista did remake it, but she seemed very annoyed the entire time. When she finished, she set the drink down and walked away without acknowledging me, even after I said thank you. I also noticed the new label had “HOT” underlined, which felt a bit condescending since I had already owned up to the mistake. A little kindness would have gone a long way.

I called and asked if I could get a pup cup for my pup without a purchase and was told over the phone that yes I could, so then I drove there only to be told 5 minutes after the call that I could not get a pup cup without purchase which is why I had called ahead of time to ask before going there. Nothing wrong with the policy but don't tell a customer one thing on the phone and another the opposite when they arrive.

Ok, so it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a food joint. Today it’s Starbucks turn. Unfortunately, the main driving point this review is highlight assuming idea that companies like this have a good grip on the value of good service. When I came in for a short remote work session, I was surprised at how ‘busy’ the EIGHT employees in front of me seem to be, including the manager that none of them could be bothered enough to even acknowledge that I was standing there waiting to order. I was further shocked at the moments going by and still no acknowledgement, a few quick glances but none of them taking the time say anything. I would expect at least someone to confirm hey, ‘we are really busy doing other things but we see you and will serve you momentarily’. Nope! They kept right on working.

Always fast,friendly and most importantly my drink is consistently made the same EVERY TIME! Oh and let’s not forget to mention they got a BIG 100 on their sanitation score! 💥💥💥
