Starbucks Coffee Company

We visited this Starbucks on our drive from Clovis to Riverside. The location was clean and welcoming, and the drinks were excellent. What stood out most was the friendly and helpful staff.

Person at window was professional until she very strangely said “can I ask you a question?” Which took me and my husband off guard, my husband of course said yes- she then pushed the tip thing in his face- he’s autistic by the way- and he felt so incredibly pressured to tip her it was extremely uncomfortable. I’ve been gestured to the tip option in the store plenty of times, I expect it honestly, but never in my whole life has anyone in any of the locations I went to shoved the tip thing in my face and made it so socially uncomfortable to say no. It’s a real shame because the other times I’ve been here I really liked the service but I don’t feel comfortable ever coming back to this location.

The staff made my coffee exactly how I wanted it—great taste and excellent service! Everyone was very welcoming, and the location was convenient with easy access back to the freeway. I left feeling pleased and energized for my trip. Keep up the fantastic work!

Planned to stop there but I got semi truck, i had to move over without coffee because no parking room there and already cars parked along with curb. See u nxt time .

I live in Tehachapi. My wife and I prefer the mill street Starbucks over the Tucker street Starbucks because usually, their drinks are more consistent. Recently, however, they have been consistently poor. I ordered a shaken espresso with light ice as I always do because I dread the occasional drinks where the drinks are 75% ice and 25% drink. However, I feel that this location has made it their obligation to punish those who order light ice. Granted, when I do offer this, I’m asked if I want to pay for more oat milk and I decline. Doing this dilutes the drink and I usually drink nothing but oat milk, so the barista puts “with room” on the drink. What in left with is 3/4 of a drink with the same amount of ice I would normally get having said nothing at all. When I mention to the barista ho
