Starbucks Coffee Company

I came to Target with my daughter, she wanted a cake pop and apple juice from Starbucks. I figured I would grab it first before shopping since the cake pop was already premade, it should have been a quick transaction. Well, I ended up waiting 16 minutes for two cake pops while the two employees helped a large family who came in after me and made all of their drinks. I was waiting there the whole time, making eye contact with the employee who took my order, and they were just chatting. The cake pops were already premade, all they had to do was put them in a bag and hand them to me. I didn’t order any drinks that needed to be made. When she finally gave them to me, she laughed and said, “Oh sorry, I forgot about it.” That’s not okay. It would have taken five seconds to hand them to me aft

Horrible experience watching the manager (Deb?) treat her employees with total disdain. I didn’t complain about the mistake made with my drink because the barista was already stressed out. Isn’t Starbucks supposed to be a bastion of progressive ideals?! Caribou gets my business from now on. Sorry.

Buyer beware… You’ll likely get a decent drink, but if you drink decaf coffee that’s not gonna happen in a timely fashion, if you want to repeat your order any less than 5 times to the person at the register go elsewhere, and go in knowing that they tend to close down and clean their espresso machine for the evening any time between 500 PM and close so that after dinner Target run with a cozy lil’ PSL, don’t bank on it.

I have been shopping at target for sometime now and started using Starbucks for refreshers and they are very tasty. But what is even better is the service I receive from this gal named Val. She is so friendly and always greets me with a smile. I look for her and if she’s working, I make sure I get a drink from her.
