Starbucks Coffee Company

This will be a very long... long... long review. So buckle up folks. I am a travel healthcare worker, some may even call me a hero (mostly around 2020), but anyways.... every city/town that I go to, I like to get a feel for the best Starbucks experience. I am also a full-time grad/doctoral student; having a place to sit and good lighting is everything. When I first arrived in Redding, I made it a point to visit all the Starbucks to find the "best" one, so. After a few trial-and-error, I did. This location is exactly 10 minutes away from my Airbnb; the only reason I mention such a commute is to show that I would much rather come here than the one that is 48 seconds away from my Airbnb, yes, 48 seconds. So what makes me come back, time after time? easy. The baristas, the ambiance, the music

This is handsdown my favorite Starbucks in Redding. 6 months ago I wouldn't have called myself a coffee drinker. Then I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and needed to find something I could drink that tasted well, met my reduced sugar needs, and also provided me with a needed burst of energy in the morning before work. The staff at this location introduced me to an Iced Shaken Espresso with coconut milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. Since then this has become a staple of my work day that often repeats multiple times. The staff here have come to know me and my unusual order and they always endeavor to get my order right with just the perfect amount of coconut milk in my drink. I love how they get to know the names of their regulars and never fail to greet them when they walk in the door.

Ordered a milk substitute for my drink. At the window she hands me the drink then says “We made it with half and then half she still used some 2% in there I hope that’s okay” I literally ordered a milk substitute… it blows my mind to still add milk. Then she proceeds to say “Do you wanna try it and see if you like it?” Regardless if I did or not (I didn’t) it’s not what I ordered and paid $7 for. I just don’t understand how that’s acceptable. Didn’t even drink it, money wasted.

Had a very nice experience today, sitting inside this Starbucks coffee anda slice of delicious coffee cake. Friendly staff and a nice warm atmosphere .

Did a mobile order, so no human interaction. I know its an extra job for them but this made my Saturday on the way to work. I love the sticker, now I dont wanna throw away my cup. I was already over dutch bros since it always taste the same. Starbucks has flavor.
