This Starbucks used to be my absolute go-to spot, but today was a nightmare. I’ve had the strawberry matcha here countless times and it’s usually my comfort drink. But this time? I don’t even know what happened. The taste was so off, it was like straight-up sink water. I literally almost gagged after the first sip. I’ve never been so disappointed, something I looked forward to all the time just completely ruined my day
I’m visiting from 11 hours away. I’ve been coming to this Starbucks every morning for a week now while my husband is in the hospital. I cannot express the service and hospitality I have received from the women at this store. They have been such a light during a darker time of my life! Every morning they ask how I am, and how my husband is. They’ve shed tears with me and given me smiles and compassion when I needed it. Idk if I look more forward to seeing them or getting my coffee at this point! If you want the best experience I highly recommend this store. Thank you ladies for the love and coffee. I’ll never forget my experience here. 🩷
Very busy starbucks. Staff is quick to pump out drink orders, and gets them right. Very few open seats here usually so get yours to go....
Starbucks at Chevy Chase This Starbucks used to be one of the best, but the quality has really gone downhill. For the price, drinks should be made right, but lately, the coffee tastes stale, and the drinks are either too strong or too milky. On top of that, the morning staff is consistently rude. I understand they’re busy, but the rushed, impersonal attitude makes the experience unpleasant. A simple greeting and some politeness go a long way—especially when they make the drink incorrectly. In contrast, the evening staff is much more pleasant and welcoming. I live in the area, and many people in my building have noticed the same issues. It’s disappointing to see this location decline, and I hope they turn things around soon.
Beautiful location very kind baristas and drinks came out nice and quick. Very pleasant experience.
