Star Sushi

Delicious mackerel nigiri. Have been here several times. The first two times I had gotten the vegetable yakisoba and it was great, flavorful and pretty well-portioned ingredients. The last time I went I had gotten the beef yakisoba and didn't enjoy it, very sparse on ingredients and drowning in soy sauce to the point there was no other flavor to the food. Still rating it 4 stars because the previous experiences were great and the sushi is good, but if it was my first time going I would have wrote the place off completely.

One of my Favorite sushi places perfect for a quick lunch or a dine in with the special someone. I love to get the pink flamingo and the golden California rolls. When I’m at work, I can easily call in an order for takeout.

The ladies at Star Sushi were wonderful. Yesterday, my daughter-in-law and a friend took me to Star Sushi. Being gluten intolerant, I rarely have difficulty selecting items when dining out. We made my diet restrictions known to our server and placed our order. When the server relayed my order to the kitchen, someone with obvious authority came to our table and explained that what I had ordered would not blend with my eating program. She went over all of the possible combinations and we finalized my order together. It was such a great customer-service experience and the food was delightful. Thank you, Star Sushi for making my dining experience a pleasant one.

Update on 3/14/22 Food is still very good! Prices have increased as everyone's have had to. Today, I had their vegetable tofu stir fry, and it was excellent, at only $11.00! Their vegetable roll was very nice and their sweet sauce was really delightful. My husband enjoyed the spicy chicken priced at $16.00. Friendly service and clean. Wow! Excellent tasting food. Hubby had a spicy Korean beef soup dish that he loved, and I had their Spicy Chicken stir fry that was absolutely amazing. Their miso soup is very nice, as is their salad and dressing. Very nice! Other than lunches running between $12.50 and $14.00 in price and it not being very fast, we are very impressed.
