Had a really good experience here. The chicken biryani was amazing, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The reception was warm and the staff were very friendly. One small tip: if you prefer spicy food, make sure to mention it while ordering because the default isn’t very spicy. Overall, great food and great service. Definitely recommend
This place has been hands down some of the best Indian food in Austin for over 30 years. Ive been coming here since I was a kid and they NEVER disappoint. I happily rediscovered this place with my girlfriend last week after having not been for several years and we where blown away. All you can eat buffet for under $17 per person, food was packed full of flavor and not dumbed down for white people, everything was fresh and they had extensive selections of all of my favorite Indian dishes. Im still in shock that they have managed to keep the price so low and affordable for how good quality their food is. Its truly a must go place if ypu live in Austin, and worth the trip to the Northside if you live down south like us. We will probably come back once a week from now on, thats how good it is
We had a lovely dinner here last night. The food was delicious, the wine was great, and the atmosphere was just perfect — clean, spacious, and comfortable. There’s plenty of room between the tables, and the music isn’t too loud, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Highly recommend!
I ordered the Star Biryani through Uber Eats app. I must say, I have never been more disappointed looking at a Biryani. The rice was soggy, and the meat was definitely not fresh and had an odd taste. This biryani looked and tasted more like a soggy fried rice. The place looks really nice, but I was highly, highly disappointed with the food. The only silver lining was the Raita that came with it, which was delicious. I will most likely never order from this place ever again.
I’ve been eating here for 20 plus years. It’s by far my favorite Indian food in town. For my Texan palate it is the perfect level of spice and seasonings. I eat their buffet every time I go and I feel every item is well done every time. They have great consistency with their food, service and employees. They are a locally owned family run restaurant and really bring the quality.
