You know those restaurants that just feel like home, but with way better food? Yep, found one in Spencer! Food was amazing. I ordered smothered pork chops and seafood potato soup to go. Stacey came out to the floor to greet customers. Great experience.

OXTAILS are the best I’ve had. Sides were great and I talked to the owner and she is as sweet as anyone. U get 2 sides oxtails over rice, bread, cake and a drink for 35 bucks. Plus the portion is big. Highly recommended! Greens w blk eye peas recommended sides. Also had neck bones and soul roll(they are huge). Both were great.

This is a recent find for us. We were is Spencer and needed some lunch. We are so glad we found this place. The food is fantastic and the service is the best. On Saturday we ordered the catfish and as we were boxing our leftovers the owner came out with more fish! She said the pieces we got were too small that she wouldn't let us leave without the right amount of fish! We ordered that same day for chicken wings to pick up on Super Bowl Sunday. The food was ready shortly after I walked and didn't need to say anything about the order. The staff knew it was my order. I then drove 30 minutes home and the chicken was still crispy! It was so good I quickly ate two orders worth!! 100% worth the drive to Spencer to get the food and experience the staff! We will be back!!

Is the food delicious? Yes. Do you get enough food for what you pay for? Also yes. Should you come here and get your belly full? Also also yes. Our group got catfish, oxtail, the whole fried hen and the lamb chops. We also got macaroni, okra, beans, stuffing, some cake and seafood egg rolls. 100% of it was delicious!

Hot delicious comfort food. This is good eatin'! It's like going home to eat at Grandma's house. Excellent!
