St Theodore Greek Orthodox Church

I called for help and to inquire about attending this parish. I have had my eyes on them for nearly a year since I delivered flowers to them one time and saw not only how beautiful the parish was but how kind the woman who greeted me was. Where is she? This man who answered the phone today was so awful and so cold to me. I am devastated. This is who you have representing your church? I grew up in the church, Protestant. I did my senior practicum on Orthodox Icons that I have always loved and felt so drawn to. I have attended Orthodox Mass. I was interested in converting. Was that the devil I experienced on the phone today, or perhaps just a very clear sign this church is not a safe space, and I am to stay far away? Or both? This man kept questioning me in a way that sounded interro

We’ve been attending Saint Theodore’s since we moved to the DMV area a little over two years ago. It’s a small, loving community that feels like home, and where any way you choose to contribute—big or small—can make a meaningful impact. Our priest is also incredible and a big part of what makes the parish so special.

Great festival. Food was delicious and great music.

Warm and inviting Greek Orthodox Church located outside of the D.C. beltway. Very welcoming with a come-as-you-are attitude. It is so true that good things come in small packages. The Priest, Fr. Manuel, smoothly mixes religious acumen with humanity and approachability.

Visited for the Greek Food Festival and got a thorough tour of the Greek Orthodox Church, complete with historical lessons. This was a beautiful place and excellent experience ❤
