I had a great experience dining here. The food was very fresh and beautifully served, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. At $16.99, the price felt very fair for the quality and variety offered. The service was about 3/5 overall. My waitress never came by to ask how the food was, which would have been appreciated. However, what really made up for it was how quickly the staff cleared empty plates from the table—it kept everything feeling clean and comfortable throughout the meal. There were also a couple small issues with my to-go order. The sauces were missing, and the edamame didn’t have salt even though I asked for it. My wife and I stopped in for dinner and had an excellent experience overall. The ambiance was well thought out, with great attention to detail that made the space comfortable and relaxing. The service was professional and efficient, and the food was absolutely fabulous. The sushi bar looked full, fresh, and inviting, and the restrooms were very clean—always appreciated. The only area that could use improvement was the overall warmth of the staff. While service was solid, there were very few smiles or greetings upon arrival or departure, and the team seemed disengaged. That said, delivering great food and service is no small feat, and with a bit more friendliness, this place would be outstanding.

Beautiful interior decor, but that’s it. We went there for the first time last Sunday and had a terrible experience. Their service is robotic and impersonal. They came to our table 3 times to check if we were ready to order in less than 5 minutes. Food took over 30 min to get to our table. The food is not authentic Thai cuisine—it tastes more like Chinese food. Worst of all, my husband had severe food poisoning and was sick for 2 days after eating here. We had almost the same dish, but he had chicken instead. And we believe the chicken may have caused his food poisoning. The price is reasonable, but I do not recommend this restaurant! There’s a lot to improve here!

Expansive menu with a wide variety of sushi and Thai options. Very attentive, efficient staff. GF offerings well marked. The red curry with salmon was excellent with great flavors.

We were in St. Augustine for Nights of Lights and a local woman recommended Green Papaya for Sushi. It was fabulous. I ordered their Lobster rolls and my hubby ordered 2 different rolls but also ate part of mine. Since I'm a red wine drinker they suggested a Pinot that was delicious. Our sever, Ria (spelling?) was superb. She made us feel very special and right at home. Her service was efficient and our wait time was not long at all. It was our last night and we were extremely happy we chose Green Papaya! Oh, their robot helpers were fun to see. This restaurant is on our list to visit again.
