Spring Mills Diner

Nice little spot within a strip mall. The atmosphere is modern. The staff were friendly and I was seated promptly. Within seconds of sitting down at my table the waitress was over asking for my drink order. I had ordered the mountaineer breakfast bowl. Which included seasoned potatoes, eggs and cheese. And either your choice of bacon or sausage. I chose both. It also came with a biscuit. The bowl was amazing. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and pillow soft on the inside. The eggs were cheesy and the bacon and sausage were mixed in perfectly. The biscuit was warm and flaky. And their butter was whipped to perfection. Fantastic spot for breakfast.

Absolutely no complaints from me. They are doing a great job here. We stopped on a Sunday morning around 11 and it was packed but they got us seated quickly and our server was on it, excellent service! I had the buffet and it was absolutely fantastic. There is a hand sanitizer at the beginning of the line and they were constantly keeping up with fresh food. I could tell a lot of love is put into this small business. The donuts tasted freshly made, the bacon was crispy and the biscuits and gravy were perfect. I would come back here again when I’m in the area.

Really bummed we were looking for a breakfast buffet on our trip home. We found Spring Mills Diner; however, when we got there the buffet was not opened yet. We arrived at 7am and the buffet didn't open until 8am. There was even a big easel at the door that said breakfast buffet, but; had no time on it. We did order off of the menu. Our meals were good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant inviting. We will probably stop by if we happen to be in the area again.

I've been to several diners in the West Virginia Martinsburg and Hagerstown Maryland areas, and this one stands out as one of the better ones. While the food could still use some improvement, we had some highlights. The fish and chips were fried to perfection, but the frozen fish itself was a bit rubbery without the breaded coating. If they're going to use a frozen battered product, I'd suggest exploring higher-quality options. My husband's cheeseburger was a cut above most - it had a decent taste, but wasn't outstanding. The service was good, and the diner is clean and nicely decorated. I'm giving it 4 stars - would love to come back and see improvements to the fish & chips.

I have been told the “Spring Mills Diner” by countless of people on the account of how good the food is. I had to try it for myself. I was highly disappointed! I decided to get the breakfast quesadilla with eggs and bacon. The eggs WERE NOT even real. They were the carton eggs and for a $10 breakfast meal… that is not worth it. My family members their food when they received it was cold. I don’t like butchering or complaining about my meals.. but this place is horrible. It’s clean inside and has a great appeal.
