I stayed here myself some years ago and loved this place so much it was the first place I booked for my trip back with my husband 2 years later. The owners are friendly and accommodating and the house is amazing. The owners live in another house on the property so the whole gorgeous house you see in the photos is just for guests. I really enjoyed seeing the alpacas and you can purchase yarn there as well! Great location too. Close to the water, the highway and a quick drive to Boothbay Harbor. A truly idyllic place.

We stayed here based on my sister's recommendation and it was everything you'd expect from a B& B and more. Nestled in a quiet coastal part of Maine, the Alpaca Farm was unique to us and Lisa and Andy were hospitable beyond compare. Upon arrival, we enjoyed cozy accommodations and a lovely breakfast.

Beautiful views, beautiful rooms. Tidy and clean and comfortable with little touches that make each room different and special. The common rooms are cozy and welcoming. Each bathroom is different and well-designed.||||Excellent breakfasts prepared by Lisa or Andy - the friendly, knowledgable hosts. And some adorable alpacas to see.||||Our visit ended with a major storm: wind and more wind and rain. When the power failed Lisa and Andy were ready with a generator. And a wonderful French toast send off.

We just returned from our Labor Day visit at Spinnacres! Decided last minute to visit our son and his girlfriend who live nearby. After finding the inn on line we contacted them to see if available, Lisa promptly got back to us and said they had a cancellation last minute, they have no idea what they missed. When we arrived Andy showed us around and the house is so much prettier in person than the photos, and we immediately noticed how clean the whole place is!!! Breakfast was amazing and Lisa and Andy have the best stories and my husband who is not a breakfast person at every morsel. After breakfast we found out that they had another last minute cancellation and Lisa and Andy accommodated our friends who decided to join us last minute for an impromptu weekend away, we got to enjoy A

Had a great visit - Lisa and Andy are great hosts! Each room is different, and very clean. The breakfasts are outstanding and they are very accommodating to any needs. The location is a beautiful spot with a view of the Eastern Branch. There are hiking trails nearby which are a treasure. This location is a nature lover's paradise.
