Just a bit clear, food is really good especially the jollof rice! The service if you dine in is can improve. I had the Beef kebab with plantains and the rice. It was okay. The chicken version tastes much better. As to the service, we were seated and given the wrong menus (we arrived at eight and we’re given lunch menus, which only had a limited number of items.) after we were given the wrong menus by one of the . We waited about 10 to 15 minutes. No one came to take our order and we were the only ones on the second floor. I had to go downstairs and ask the proprietor and he gave me the right menu and then came to get our order after about five minutes. He looked grumpy didn’t wanna be there and basically said they had none of the juices we wanted such as the ginger juice, which is very
My husband and I used to go to the shawarma place in this building so we decided to try the new place that opened up - BEST choice!! The food is phenomenal. Worth every cent and more. Staff was so kind and welcoming, too. On top of that, there's gorgeous West African wood carvings and textiles and other art to enjoy while you eat. We loved both dishes we tried, and I can't wait to come back to try the snapper next time we're in the area. Come do some food tourism in your own neighborhood and support a small business!
Great African food. Location is in a good spot and distance from a lot of things. It was a little confusing when we first got to the door, and went through the kitchen to get to the upstairs dining area. I would suggest signs or something so it’s less confusing other then that, food was really good no complaints
Very delicious food. Durian took such good care of us. We enjoyed the peanut butter soup, okra stew, fried plantains, jollof rice, and fish dish. Definitely try it out if you are looking for delicious West African food!
The food was delicious, I will say I thought I would get a leg quarter with my Cassava leaf due to the photo shown but instead I got a chicken skewer, that’s my only thought but very good
