I love spice they food is wonderful only problem you all have is not opening on time when you all are scheduled to open Last time I was here I had waiting 1hour after opening time
I don’t know who is cooking in the back but this is absolutely unacceptable!!! Several other reviews have made mention of this very thing, some dating back 3+ years ago. And you STILL haven’t gotten it right. It is dangerous and careless of you to sell uncooked meat to customers. I mean, it’s practically RAW. If you don’t know how to properly cook meat, then take it off the menu. Before someone gets seriously ill or you’re reported to the health department.
The young lady that answered the phone when I called was helpful as I explained this is my first time patronizing this business. The service was excellent. I ordered curry goat, it’s spicy and delicious. They give you a lot of food for your money. The coco bread was soft and the plantain was sweet and soft just the way I like it. I can’t rate the mac and cheese because I’m partial to my own lol. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m picky and the restaurant was CLEAN! If I had to complain about anything it would be that they didn’t have any diet soda’s but that definitely isn’t a deal breaker for me. I’ll be back next week.
I got two things, the jerk chicken (dark meat) and the oxtail. I got sides of rice, plantains, and salad. I also got coco bread. Wasn’t a huge fan of the jerk chicken to be honest, but that’s just my personal taste. The oxtail was absolutely delicious, the sauce was super flavorful, dipping the coco bread in it was an absolute 10/10. mixed with the rice was also gas. The ladies in there were super nice too, got me everything i needed, i almost forgot my coco bread but they caught me after i left and made sure i got it
I stopped here for lunch today. I was WOWED with how clean the outside was and WOWED again with a very warm welcome from the gentleman and lady that was serving and cashing out. I was coming from a 1 hour drive and needed to use the restroom. The restroom was the cleanest restroom I have ever used at a Jamaican restaurant located in America. Everything was going well until I disappointed myself by only being able to eat one meal. I had a mixed lunch (fried chicken and curry goat). The curry goat was seasoned to the bone and very soft. I usually don't eat chicken breast/ white meat, but that's all they had left, so I took a chance and never had any regrets. The chicken was soft, well fried, seasoned, and juicy. Don't think I need to say much more. The evidence is in the picture showi
