Speckled Paw Coffee - Wadesboro

Would have a hard time leaving a one star review because the customer service was great, but the person at the counter had zero experience making coffees or working alone and the wait was much longer than it should ever be for a coffee - had to wait twenty minutes, tired parents on the way to the airport and desperately in need of coffee. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience. The coffee is ok, not the best I’ve had, but appreciated in a small town. Rookie mistake: pouring the hot espresso right over the ice for a latte... All in all, needs much improvement. Will stop in again on a future trip and hopefully they’ve stepped it up.

On this first time: Service- excellent Iced dirty chai- delicious Atmosphere and decor- inviting and open Restroom- clean We WILL be back!! Update: We did come back, on 9/28 around 2 pm. Cold brew was sour, not smooth at all. It was disappointing.

Friendly barista and good service! Unfortunately, shots of espresso were made incorrectly and lattes were not made correctly.Espresso to milk was ratio making it undrinkble. I wanted to love this local coffee shop.

Just opened. Amanda the manager is very sweet and helpful! Free wifi, comfortable spacing and seating. Carb and keto friendly drinks and cakes. Protein, smoothies milkshakes, ice cream, baked goods, sugar free syrup selection, tends to be a hot spot for all uptown employees...lawyers. small businesses owners DSS social workers.
