Sparks Library

I'm pretty sad to leave a one-star review, as we used to love this Library. We've been coming to the baby story time for months. Until today, it was so fun. It is smaller group of parents, cute songs and rhymes, a couple of books, and playtime afterward. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Today the first book read to babies (18 months and younger) was about a cross-dressing bear feeling nervous and "different" at ballet. I have no problem with boys in ballet. I do have a problem with trying to promote a woke agenda and introduce BABIES to sexual identity at a public place. We left immediately and did not stay for the rest of storytime. Great library! Plenty seats for computer users (I counted about 30), smart seat design (see photo), wifi is limited at 50/10 Mbps for each user, drinking water allowed, plenty of parking spots behind the building. Five minutes away from Planet Fitness for intellectual/physical activity balance. Recommended!

A man sitting out front this library wearing all tan whistled at me as I walked my dog across the street to the park then he begun to follow and stalk me at the park, I noticed him he immediately turned around and went and hid in the library. I go in the library and tell them this and that there is a man who stalked me and went to hide in their library and to help and they refused to help. This library isn't safe due to this type of activity it is dangerous to have kids and family around men who are stalking people loving in the local area. They could potentially be protecting a very dangerous person and they refused to help. Do Not bring your kids here. Unfortunate I have to leave such a review. I really like libraries but that behavior is unacceptable and dangerous STAY AWAY.

I took my mother here to get her taxes filed. The volunteers were very kind and polite with us. The library itself is very well maintained and clean. It is really great to see people still going to the library to check out physical books. Verdict: Thumbs Up
