Spanish Potato Grill

My first time here, couldn't be more satisfied . The service was great, food was delicious. We will definitely return

The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was very attentive and friendly, but not overbearing and the atmosphere is charming, depending on where you sit. We had the sample appetizer along with soup which could have been a meal in itself. The soup was reminiscent of my wife's mother's homemade soup and was fantastic. We took two quarts home with us. The wild boar shank was delicious and just fell off the bone. My wife had the pork chops which were perfectly cooked. The deserts were excellent as well. I had the almond cake and my wife had the flan.

So me and my husband and friends went out to dinner there tonight. My friends have went out a few weeks ago and really like the place. I wanted to take us there. It started out OK, but it turned into such a fiasco. We had ordered an appetizer and then our meals, and they brought out soup, which I thought was really good. Then we waited an awful long time and they started to bring out dinners. We asked the waiter where our appetizer was, and he said he had forgotten it. My friends husband steak was not cooked the way he wanted it. My dinner was good and my friends dinner was good my husband they gave him the wrong steak, but he said he would be OK with that and they brought him out another one that was rare and then he had to end up ordering something completely different.. the service also

Tonight we visited the Spanish Potatoe. I didn't know what to expect, but after this visit, it's my new favorite restaurant!!! We walked in and were promptly seated. John was our waiter, he exceeded every waiter I've ever met in even the finest of restaurants. John placed my napkin on my lap, brought my platter out and placed a nice serving size on my plate in front of me, & always made sure my drink of hot water was full. The food was exceptional and the portions huge! We ordered the octopus salad and it was delicious. The leek soup was a lovely surprise, it reminded me a little, of a cross between a thin split pea and potatoe soup. I ordered the flank steak rare, it was the best flank steak I've ever eaten.
