Space Age Restaurant

This was our first time visiting Space Age. It Very clean environment and friendly staff. I thought food was really good...it is definitely hamburgers joint. I guess you can have breakfast... it is real basic menu. You definitely get ur money's worth. Thank you!

The restaurant that had no space! I can't say what the inside is like. We stayed at the attached motel and we couldn't get in an hour before the claimed closing, with 'Open' lights blazing and people eating inside. They would not answer a call from the motel desk, so they're a big zero to me. The motel desk sent us down the street to the Thrifty ice cream store--which was great and cheaper!

Group of 10, that's why the review isn't lower. Took over an hour to get our food. The servers didn't know what drinks they were out of and we ended up getting Pepsi with low syrup making all of them taste strange. When we tried getting replacements the server didn't know they were out of dr pepper and starry as well until they came back to tell us. The water also tasted weird (probably unfiltered tap), the only drink that didn't taste off was the tea. Once we got our food, they forgot bacon and only put 1 pickle slice on one of the burgers, the chicken in the chicken sandwich was as hard as concrete, and one of the salads had a raw egg instead of a boiled egg. Overall experience was negative, also $5 for a for fountain soda is way too high.

I went on a lark to see what it was about. I passed by this when I was a kid going to Phoenix, before the freeway was built. It's more a Jetsons than NASA theme. With tip, I spent $30 for 2 eggs, hash browns and toast with 3 strips of bacon on the side and coffee. A little pricey for a basic breakfast. Prices must change frequently. They were handwritten on the menu. But, as far as I can tell, this is the only sit down breakfast restaurant in Gila Bend. Otherwise, fast food.

Wait staff was polite. Food is very disappointing. Bland, flavorless Walmart "angus" burger patties. Fries were undercooked. Onion rings were overcooked. And who puts an entire slice of undercooked onion on a melt? And there was some guy layed down sleeping in the corner booth.
